Session packages: each visit is deducted automatically

Selling packages for yoga, pilates, massage and cosmetology courses: set it up once, each visit deducts a session, the balance and expiry always in view.

The days of “book every time, note it down every time” are over. The client buys a package once, each visit deducts a session from it automatically, and the balance is visible both to you and to the client.

For a business that sells packages, the hardest part isn’t the sale, it’s the record-keeping. A client bought a 10-session pilates package, came to five, cancelled one — how many are left? Counting that in a notebook or in Excel takes time and leads to disputes: the client says “I had seven left”, you say “six”.

How packages work

  1. You create the package. For example, “Pilates — 10 sessions” or “Massage — 300 minutes”. A package can be counted in sessions or in minutes.
  2. You sell it to the client. Payment can be made in one go or in instalments; any amount still owed shows on the client card.
  3. The client comes in. When the booking is completed, the session is deducted from the package automatically. No extra calculation, no separate note.
  4. The balance is always in view. How many sessions have been used, how many are left and when the package expires are all shown on the client card.

Expiry and refunds

You can give a package a validity period: for example, 10 sessions within 3 months. This encourages clients to come regularly and stops packages “hanging around” for years. If a client gives up a package, you record the refund in the system too, and the till and reports update accordingly.

Staff commission, automatically too

There’s no confusion between package sales and a specialist’s commission either. In the Team section you set a separate percentage or fixed amount for package sales; at the end of the period, who earned how much is ready on screen. Who it’s for

A package covers several sessions for one client; Rezneed doesn’t offer capacity-based booking for group classes.

How to sell more packages

  • Offer it at the till. When a client is paying for their first session is the easiest moment to say “there’s also a 5-session package at this price”.
  • Show the package price clearly. Write something like “10 sessions — 450 ₼ (45 ₼ a session, single session 55 ₼)” so the saving is obvious.
  • Remind clients before expiry. Message clients whose package is about to run out on WhatsApp and offer them a new one.

Everything packages can do is on the Packages page. To try it yourself, open a free 45-day Rezneed account, no card required.
