Why have a cancellation policy?
A written policy tells clients up front what you expect and cuts down on arguments. When clients cancel in time you can fill the slot, so the policy protects both your time and other clients' time.
Where should I post it?
On Instagram in your bio or a Highlight, on WhatsApp as a status or auto-reply, and on your website next to the booking button. The short-note format suits a bio or a Google Maps description.
Can Rezneed charge a cancellation fee or take a deposit?
No. Rezneed does not charge clients fees or hold deposits. Asking for prepayment is your own rule and you take the payment yourself. We are working on online card payment at the time of booking — coming soon.
Can clients cancel by themselves?
Yes. You set the cut-off up to which a client can cancel online from the booking link. Clients also see all their bookings on the customer.rezneed.com portal and can cancel there when allowed.
What should I do about a client who keeps missing appointments?
In Rezneed you can block a client from the client card. Before you do, it's best to publish your policy openly and give the client one warning.
